The Ocean Alliance's DAY9 product features 4 Mediterranean services, offering 2 direct services to West Mediterranean, 1 direct service to East Mediterranean and Turkey, and 1 direct service to the Adriatic Sea, providing 103 direct port-to-port services.

Relying on Piraeus, the 2 Mediterranean mainlines are connected with the Diamond Service regional feeder network and the Central Europe Land-Sea Express Service, reaching regions such as Central and Eastern Europe, Eastern Europe, the Balkans, Eastern Mediterranean, Adriatic Sea, Black Sea, and North Africa.

Asia-Mediterranean product has two versions (via CGH and via Suez) In 2025. Due to the impact of the Red Sea situation, OCEAN Alliance maintain the navigation via CGH temporarily and will be adjusted subject to subsequent circumstances.

22 Trans-Pacific services(2 new loops)
The trans-Pacific services of DAY 9 product to be launched from 2025 will present customers with 9 Pacific Southwest services, 5 Pacific Northwest services, and 8 Far East - East Coast North America and U.S. Gulf services, including around 170 port pairs.

In alignment with market development trends, we are building and continuously improving end-to-end supply chain solutions for cross-border e-commerce. In response to the trend of supply chain diversity, we further enhance the network coverage between Southeast Asia and North America, offering 10 stable direct services. Additionally, by utilizing the advantages of Yangpu Transhipment Hub and connecting it with the regional feeder network in Asia, we further expand and diverify the network between Southeast Asia and North America.

To adapt to market changes, we maintain a balanced network across the West Coast, East Coast, and Gulf, ensuring we continue to meet customer needs.

Launch of "Malta Sunshine Life" freight ordering mini-program

'Malta Sunshine Life' WeChat mini-program has been released on the WeChat messaging and commercial platform.

Using WeChat as a platform, our clients can easily view our services on the mini-program, read our terms, pay for shipments, track their cargo's progress, and then directly contact us with queries of booking details.

Our WeChat mini-program aims to bring freight ordering to the average person through more user-friendly interfaces, simplified information (with the option to find more details), streamlined payment options and a feature to translate the page from Chinese to English.

Shipping delays due to the friction around the Red Sea

As of this article, due to political friction and the ongoing conflicts in proximity to the Red Sea, cargo ships from China to Malta shall take another shipping route for safety. Shipping lines affected include but are not limited to CMA CGM, COSCO, and OOCL.

The new route will have ships travel around the continent of Africa via 'Cape of Good Hope' to reach Europe and Malta. Delays, higher shipping costs and longer delivery time to shipping are to be expected. For businesses or individuals, we recommend adjusting inventory and schedule plans to adjust to the delays. If you have a sea freight ordered with us or looking to order one and would like to know how this development would affect you, contact us and we shall provide the neccessary details. Otherwise, ordering cargo delivery by air from China to Malta is available and isn't affected.

Currently, due to the instability of the region around the Red Sea, there's no reliable or accurate estimate as to when ships will return to using the Red Sea to reach Europe, as shipping lines require the region to have an extended period of certain security
